Farsons Old Brewhouse

Halmann International supported this project by designing, producing and supplying a custom architectural terrazzo mix for the old beer factory which was refurbished into an exhibition experience.  The architect’s brief was to replace the worn-out terrazzo floor with a similar mix design to reinstate the architectural value, and historical importance of the space. The architectural terrazzo floor, made with blue marble chippings, was installed on a screed sub-base in large format and was honed in-situ. Solid skirting from the same mix design was machined from solid blocks to create the rounded profile at floor to wall interface.
