Trident Park

Halmann Vella was the lead contractor of the finishes works package that transformed this iconic building, into a thriving and vibrant office campus and world class business destination. Works were diverse and substantial. Part of Halmann Vella’s scope was to furnish 3000sqm of external hard landscaping made from terrazzo. The custom mix-design and surface finish was designed and discussed in detail with world renowned and UK-based designers from Ian Ritchie Architects office (iRAL). The ‘Trident Light’ and ‘Trident Medium’ terrazzo mixes from the Classic Collection were chosen for the external public gardens. Pavers were cut in 1200mm x 300mm and 600mm x 300mm formats and finished in a bush-hammered and brushed finish for high USVR and anti-slip requirements. The Halmann Vella team has also developed and manufactured a collection of garden furniture constituting of 15m long terrazzo benches and large planters made from ‘Cosmic Latte’ terrazzo. These were finished brushed at the plant and treated with a sealer once installed on site.
